Domestic Abuse Intervention Services looked to us to develop purpose-led communications for both their capital campaign for a new shelter and for long-term branding and messaging. We had initial conversations with staff, board members, community leaders and survivors. We then developed a communication blueprint driven by the purpose ‘transforming our community, one person at a time’. This strategy set the stage for the new brand platform that included a new logo/identity and them ‘DAIS. One. And for All.’  We then developed capital campaign materials, a new web site, signage, out-of-home messaging—all the tools necessary for making the new shelter a reality. Today, DAIS calls home a facility that is regarded as a national model.
